A major data center operator who had grown by acquisition wanted a bill audit, tariff study, and cost benchmarking of their major data centers. ETE extracted several years of utility invoice data from the client’s third party bill pay provider. After extensive data cleaning, ETE imported the historical invoice data and facility metrics into Tableau to create cost, usage, and metric comparisons across sites in the portfolio. ETE also ensured electric tariff assignments were optimal for the load at each facility.
