Pear: Ideation Regarding Product Features and Definition of Requirements and User Personas

Who We Are & What We Do
ETE was retained by Pear AI to assist the start-up founders in defining certain product requirements and technical specifications for features related to utility bill management, data capture, reporting, and visual presentation. ETE’s work included providing data and specifications related to the range of rate structures and charge types for electricity and gas in regulated and deregulated markets. By properly categorizing the range of potential charge types, Pear AI was able to build a comprehensive data architecture that allows for granular reporting of usage and cost drivers (e.g., supply vs. distribution, usage vs. demand, etc.). ETE also provided insight into user personas and reporting features that may appeal to each. To date, ETE has provided continued support to product enhancements and early customer deployments.
